Just thinking...
Would it be so bad not to have a two party system?
Every time this thought pops into my mind I wind up at the same spot... nice idea in theory. However, I believe a two party system is necessary.
One group will always be in power... there must always be a party with opposite policies to prevent one party from gaining too much power. I just don't see how you could effectively balance power without a two party system.
There needs to be an opposite- not just an alternative.
I know the theories out there... .and they make sense... but, I just don't believe they will work in this country. It's not how it's supposed to be run.
