"You're on your own. And you know what you know and YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go...I'm afraid that some times you'll play lonely games too. Games you can't win 'cause you'll play against you. All Alone! Whether you'll like it or not, alone will be something you'll be quite a lot...But on you will go though the Hakken-Kraks howl...and will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)" Dr. Seuss

What are you playing?
It's been ages since I bought a new game... so I'm curious...what games do you like to play with a group of folks?
We adore the Settlers of Cataan series. It actually makes you think and takes a while, and it's addictive. So play it with people that you really like the first time because you're going to want to get together every weekend to play.
I have to admit, here's another vote for Apples to Apples. It's easy to play without hardly any explanations and involves everyone as much or little as they want to be involved.
Love these suggestions... went and picked up Apples to Apples...as that's a clear favorite...will use this list as I purchase more games over this next year.
Imaginiff (is really fun!)
ReplyDeleteNertz (a game you play with at least 2 decks of cards)
Would you rather (we have this, haven't played it yet, but heard it is fun)
We have SO many board games.....
