Happiness Post:: Post 14

Today I was looking through photos from 2008.

In March 2008 my oldest was 3.5 yrs and my youngest was 1.5.

I live to enjoy the now with them. However, there are moments when I look back, that my heart aches at how fast it all went.

I remember my oldest would always sneak into her little sister's crib every morning. I'd grab the camera to capture their hilarious personalities. They still love playing together.

They both suck their left thumbs - so the oldest is being exceptionally silly. (Although my youngest will, if the left thumb is injured, suck the right one. She's very proud of this fact. We have an ultrasound of her sucking her thumb in the womb)

Yes, this is a happiness post. Despite the travail of time, I am always so grateful to see them grow up, knitted close as sisters. No matter my mood, I pull up a picture, any picture, and seeing these girls of mine, make me smile.

My life wouldn't be joyful without them. For that, I am filled with happiness.

How adorable -- I have such a hard time looking at old photos -- and home movies just make me cry hysterically -- heh! Lovely babies you have!
