"You're on your own. And you know what you know and YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go...I'm afraid that some times you'll play lonely games too. Games you can't win 'cause you'll play against you. All Alone! Whether you'll like it or not, alone will be something you'll be quite a lot...But on you will go though the Hakken-Kraks howl...and will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)" Dr. Seuss

One of the things that has struck me about this race is this whole notion of snobbery and scorn on the part of the media and "elites." I don't consider myself particularly liberal or conservative; I have different opinions based on the issues. I don't live in the Midwest and, while I am certainly religious, it is a religion that does not count to most of the world. But I do feel a kinship with Sarah Palin, just because she is goofy and smart and a mother and a wife and doesn't know everything and wasn't bred to be the VP. Politics aside, I really did not feel this towards Hilary Clinton. And when SP is criticized or mocked, I feel like they are mocking ME. With my kids and my education and my desire to do what is best for my family and for my world. And no matter what her politics and my politics are, I feel like I want her to win because it will shut them up.
I feel the same way. But I like the way you say it better.
