Book Group

ok... so we're restarting our book group in my neck of the woods.

Anyone with suggestions on books we should be reading?

Jeff Shaara. my all time favorite. Historical fiction... BUT, he takes the actual evens and with a whole bunch of facts makes history amazing.

james Rollings- takes science and makes a huge adventure. Many times over

Clive Cussler- Ditto to the above, no cussing or dirty stuff. Each book a good one.

that's it for now. I could go on and on. :-D

Tender at the Bone by Ruth Reichl... she's a NY Times food critic and it's her story about how she grew up with food. Pretty much my favorite book.

I just read Funny in Farsi and loved it. I can't wait to get my hands on the one Lucky recommended. I'm salivating already.

Nov - A Tree Grows in Brooklyn

Dec - Austenland (I've read - it's a fun easy read for Dec)

Jan - Pillars of the Earth (which I've read - but no one else has)

Feb - Beneath a Marble Sky (I've also read this - but it's a good one)

Mar - Tender at the Bone (I can't wait to read this!)

Apr - Manhunt (about the hunt for John Wilks Booth)

May - The Eyre Affair (I've read and am so excited for everyone else to read)
